Yeah, it looks like of neat. I have a friend who doodles in church all the time, she says it helps her concentrate because otherwise her mind wanders onto other things. I can't do that, lol. So I just sit and listen like a good girl ^_^

I made a promise, a promise, Mister Frodo. And I intend to keep it.

thats exactly why i doodle. xD lol
i wouldnt doodle if i could concentrate but since i cant... it actually helps me take in what they say instead of thinking about what else im going to do that day. ;] i know exactly what shes talking about. lol
and besides... i hate church. lol

You two sound like kindred spirits (hahah).

There are some churches . . . no, I won't even go there. But I love mine now, I feel more like I'm being edified instead of entertained (which is really what church is about, isn't it?). But what is it that you don't like? The whole spiritual religious thing or that church specifically?

i like it cuz its really romantic. its got that whole "2 bodies, one being" thing going on. it reminds me marriage. it makes me smile. (:
:iconsillygoosefrompluto:
meh, im just really apathetic to the whole religion thing. ^^ i mean... i try to get into it, out of guilt ya know? but you cant make yourself want something you just dont want. :] and plus... its so boring. lol they get on us about things we do wrong in our life, tell us how to fix it then tell us to go do it. lol every week its something new... i think maybe once it would be nice of t hem to bring up something awe inspiring instead of critisizing. :3 but thats just me.

but yeah... doodling is my passion. lol x3 i doodle in class and really, it helps me remember. last time i doodled in latin class, i drew an entire mythological story using cute little figures. x3 hee hee hee

Ah, I see. No, you can't MAKE yourself religous, it just doesn't happen. There has to be a touch of the Spirit working in you (lol, I probably sound like a pastor *groan*). You want to hear something awe-inspiring? Jesus. God's one and only son. I mean, there's a passage in the Bible where he's even praying to God (his Father!) if there was any other way to safe mankind but since there wasn't, he gladly gave up his own life so that humans could have eternal life. That . . . that just hits me in the heart everytime I think of it. Jesus is my Savior, I love him, I'm so thankful for God's mercy towards me and changing my life. And really, someone else can't tell you to change, that is another conviction of the heart. You spend enough time talking to God through prayer and reading his Bible, and you start to WANT to change. You know He has a plan that is so much better for you and you want to follow it.

Haha, a mythological story? Nice, I want to see it, lol. I used to be a doodler but, when homeschooled, you can't really do that because your SUPPOSED to be working on your own. And now I doodling just sidetracks me . . . unless it's scribbling circles and ovals and junk like that, lol.

just saw that just a few moments ago, truely beautiful. ^-^
and yess, i know jesus is so so great and im thankful... but i just dont feel close. i feel like: oh sure he saved me but now hes kinda just left me here and expects me to just keep going and growing stronger and things... i mean, ive had a good life. nothing to bring me closer to god, nothing to tear me away. so its like... what now? i have no solid evidence that hes still there and no solid evidence that hes not... so i guess you could say im waiting. lol waiting for something to happen, and hoping that if nothing does happen ill eventually want him anyways. :l

oh its nothing all that special, really i was just doodling. lol i might put it up here i guess but i took like two seconds to draw it so its really just a messy bunch of scribbles. lol
homeschooling sounds like soooooooooo much fun to me, i think id love it. :]

Well, I am very, very glad to hear that. And, you know what, I really believe God wants to develope a closer relationship to all His children. With me, I'm not strong enough to do it on my own, so I have to keep asking God to help me grow closer (strange way to go about it, ain't it, lol). But I'm just human, after all ^_^ You know, it's really hard to find a church and a pastor that's right for you (there are some out there I would question . . . ) so just take your time and if it's not working for you, I would suggest (just suggest) reading your Bible. Some days you're just reading and nothing seems to come up, but you might read something that will help you out later.

Hahah, if you could SEE all the dumb stuff I drew when I was little, you laugh. You would roll on the floor laughing your guts out. Hey, I do! Haha, I'm glad I don't draw like that anymore (poor, faceless, flat people).
